Ahhh, Maple Valley. It's beautiful and serene. I'm really starting to like it here. It has a storybook small town feel. I really don't mind the rain because it's more of a drizzle or mist and it makes everything feel clean and fresh. It can be very gray and dark during the day though which I'm still trying to get used to.
One other adjustment, BUGS! In Nevada you really didn't have to deal with too many spiders or insects. Now bone is getting fleas which he never had before. But the worst is the spiders!!! There will be at least two or three spiders that have made a home on our front porch at all times. Then on the patio is another spider community. These are not just little spiders, these are big nasty looking spiders!
Uugghhh...shudder....I'm too scared to even attempt to sweep them off so for now they get to have the patio!
So I am happy to announce that I am a stay at home mom again!! I am so very happy that I don't have to leave the kids and Brock anymore. Brock's working a ton of hours, but he's doing awesome at his job, I am so proud of him!!
Here's a little apartment tour by Cavan:
Our patio overlooks the little park in our apartments
See Bone's tent (that orange thing)? Isn't that adorable, we found it at Ikea. Now he's a proper northwest dog.
