Shame on me!

Looking through my blog I realized I never actually put up any pictures from the kids birthday's. Wow, way to go mom! Better late than never right? My little princess, 6 years old. Where does the time go? People say thay all the time, but I never really experienced this until having kids. She is so big now, and so smart. She loves school. She is doing math problems with ease and starting to read books to me! She's got a little play that her class is doing called the "3 Piggy Opera" She tells me that she really wants the lead role of the mama pig. She says that she sings the loudest and the best so that hopefully she will be chosen. She's not shy one little bit. She loves performing, and making friends. She's a very sweet little angel most of the time. Her sassiness comes out mostly to her little brother. She has little patience for him not being up to speed with 6 year old stuff. She "lets" Cavan play with her, but it's her "game" by her rules. She makes him play my little ponies or littlest pet shop, but the rules are very specific. She choses who he is, and what his toy says and does. I think eventually he will get sick of this, but for now he'll put up with it to be able to play with his sister.

My little man. Four years old, but still my baby through my eyes. He's really into Lego's, Star Wars, Ninja's, and pirates. Typical boy in every sense.

He has no fear, which results in him leaping off of everything, and always having at least a few bruises. As tough as he is, he is the sweetest most sensitive little boy.

He's a very affectionate momma's boy who is always asking for hugs and kisses and telling me that I'm so beautiful and how much he loves me. Every morning I find him curled up next to me in my bed. I'm a lucky momma.

Happy belated birthday to the best kids in the world!!!

Is it spring yet?

I sure hope so. I am craving the sunshine like no other! In the spirit of spring coming I decided it was about time the kids got their very own chore chart. It's been working beautifully with Chloe, she loves to do her chores and put stickers on the chart. She'd make one heck of a debt collector, she was all over Brock when it was time to get paid. I'm trying to teach her that saving her money and buying something she really wants is so much cooler than blowing it all at the dollar store like she wants to. Cavan needs a little helping and instruction, he tells me he will do his chores later when I ask him.....

Today was pajama day at Chloe's school

Chloe LOVES to vacumn and do the dishes, she's so cute.

Bone getting his bath, he looks like a drowned rat without his puffy hair

For the kids birthday we went to the Rainforest Cafe with Tayler. I think I almost had a seizure from the led light flashing cups they gave the kids. I think I can only do that place once a year!

Playing video games at uncle Kurts house

Hanging out with Makenzie

The kids are going to miss Matt so much when he goes on his mission!

The Holiday Post

I would this the Christmas post, but really this post has every picture from our holiday season I'm sure. You might want to grab a snack and a drink for this one, it's very picture heavy!

Decorating the tree

Looking spiffy before church. Chloe is wearing a beautiful dress made by Grandma Suzy.

My handsome boys.

Santa came to our house!! The kids were so suprised! I got a very cute video which failed to upload, but I'm sure you can imagine the excitement.

We had just so happened to have some cookies freshly made when he showed up!

My little angel on Christmas Eve.

So excited she can hardly stand it!

There's our Bone.

He can't wait! Almost every single present of his had a little tear on the wrapping paper. He's such a stinker!

Making gingerbread cookies for santa with daddy.

I love Brock's Santa cookie.

Look who came!

Chloe woke us up at 4:50 am. We tried to resist but there was no way she was going back to bed!

Can you tell by this picture how painfully early it was?

Love that face. He's been practicing different tough guy "looks" lately.

Brock has always been anti-snuggie, so of course I had to get him one :)

That's all for now. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas!
